At The Mark Taylor Golf Academy we have a belief that "There is a Better Golfer Inside Everyone"! Based on that belief we work with you to draw the best out of you rather than the traditional approach of bombarding you with information and techniques that will do very little for you other than confuse you!
We shall show you how to achieve the greatest possible improvement by creating a personal development programme for all aspects of your golf including the games often neglected mental side.
Your programme will be based on a careful analysis of the strengths and weaknesses you currently possess. I believe that it is only when coaches understand how the mind and body works that pupils will achieve outstanding results.
Mark Taylor is one of the most highly trained golf coaches in the golf industry. Having completed rigorous training programmes in the mental, physical and physiological aspects of the game. Through his constant commitment to develop his coaching skills Mark has been awarded the status of Advanced PGA Golf Professional.
A fantastic learning environment has been created at the Golf Academy at Alvaston Hall Golf Club including state of the art computer swing analysis equipment, teaching aids, special lighting and mirrors.
Alvaston Hall boasts a 16 bay covered floodlit driving range open from 9am – 9pm daily. Top quality driving range balls are used and aesthetic targets are in place to add to your enjoyment. A fully licensed functional clubhouse will cater for all your needs serving a menu of hot and cold beverages.
The Putting Academy offers students a state of the art practice putting facility using precise training aids to develop all areas of this often overlooked area of the game. Even one half hour training session on this area would guarantee an improvement to your score.
Mark has trained with most of the worlds leading putting specialists including Dave Pelz and Geoff Mangum developing his putting coaching skills to further compliment the golf academy.
Additionally, Alvaston Hall Golf Academy offers a short game practice facility where chipping, pitching and bunker-play can be trained.
